This story reminds my own story when Dr Christopher Brennan from Adobe, a director of Sales in Eastern Europe during a Adobe seminar break held at Kyiv at Petrovka "City" conference -hall went downstairs to the CD/DVD shop and returned surprised with a bunch of CDs filled with Adobe software purchased for less then 3$.
